@BoltGraphicsInc's video Tweet

Bolt Graphics stated on its official website that the company’s founder, Darwesh Singh, has a passion for learning and is committed to pushing boundaries. After a decade of working on data center and cloud environment design, he founded Bolt Graphics.

They noted that the impetus for founding the company came from Darwesh witnessing the lengthy rendering times for movie visual effects in 2014, which, driven by an innovative spirit, led him to develop a hardware-accelerated ray tracing solution. This breakthrough laid the foundation for Bolt Graphics, which he established in 2020. Since then, he has set a goal—to address performance issues in heavy-load tasks such as simulation and 3D graphics, while reducing power consumption.

As a result, the company has garnered widespread attention.

10 Times the Performance of NVIDIA 5090

From the slides released by the company it shows that in path tracing workloads, it outperforms the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 by approximately 10 times. However, it’s important to note that Zeus only excels over the RTX 5090 GPU in path tracing and FP64 computing workloads. It’s currently unclear how it performs in traditional rendering techniques, as that is not its focus. Bolt Graphics stated that the graphics card does support rasterization, but does not emphasize this feature much, so in gaming, it may struggle to compete with top-tier graphics cards.
